Oil is driving the tape. Brent jumped to $107.72 (+2.97%) as US–Iran tensions around the Strait of Hormuz and a fresh Houthi front keep supply fears alive. A firmer dollar and rate-hike bets ahead of Wednesday's Fed decision (hike odds near 87%) are weighing on risk assets broadly.

🇯🇵 Asia sold off on the energy shock – Nikkei 225 down 1.51% to 63,045, a six-week low, also hit by AI-safety jitters.

🇭🇰 Hang Seng –0.5% to 24,687, a fourth straight losing session on oil and rate concerns.

🇨🇳 Shanghai Composite still near Friday's close of 3,888 (-1.18%), a two-week low – Monday's print not yet confirmed.

💱 EUR/USD – 1.1598, flat (-0.01%). Technicals lean Strong Sell as Citi flags rising geopolitical risk for the euro; UBS still sees another ECB hike in December.

🥇 Gold – $4,332.90 (-0.40%), losing ground as oil strength and Fed hike bets dull its appeal.

₿ Bitcoin – $77,324 (+0.12%), holding steady near recent levels.

📅 Week ahead: Fed decision Wed, UK CPI & US retail sales Wed, ECB speakers & BoE decision Thu, BoJ decision Fri.
